A little flower story
The same hydrangea can bloom blue in one garden and pink in another: its colour depends on the soil it grows in. An old story from Japan tells of an emperor who gave hydrangeas to say sorry to the family of the girl he loved, and so they came to stand for feelings that come from the heart.
Hundreds of small blossoms in every head, like many little thank-yous.
